Brenda Call is currently the K-12 Mathematics Coach. She joined the CSD team back in August of 1992. She has taught one year in the Elementary Department before moving to the Middle School Department where she has taught math for 18 years and was also a lead math teacher for 14 years. In 2011, she became the school's curriculum specialist in the area of Mathematics and still continues to teach math in both Middle School and High School Departments part-time. She is a co-coordinator of the New Teacher Mentoring program.
She has a Bachelor's in Secondary Education with a focus on Mathematics from Gallaudet University and a Master's in Special Education from San Jose State University.
She has two credentials which are: Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics and Specialist Instruction Credential in Special Education. These two credentials are for grades 12 and below, including preschool, and in classes organized primarily for adults;
